HelloFresh is to open a free interactive family food experience at the Natural History Museum in London this summer.
Running from 27 July to 30 August 2026, The Curious Kitchen will transform a dedicated area of the Natural History Museum into a farm-inspired environment designed to help families explore where food comes from and how ingredients are brought together at dinnertime.

A Digital Farm and Interactive Dining Table
Visitors will be able to harvest ingredients within a digital environment while learning more about their origins. Families will choose from four HelloFresh recipes and collect the relevant ingredients virtually before gathering around an interactive dining table.
The table will guide participants through the process of virtually cooking their selected recipe one ingredient at a time, demonstrating how the finished meal comes together.
Part of the Bring Back Dinnertime Campaign
The installation forms part of HelloFresh’s wider Bring Back Dinnertime campaign, which focuses on encouraging families to spend time together through cooking and shared meals. The campaign also seeks to build a greater understanding of the ingredients used in everyday food preparation.
Alongside the installation, HelloFresh will publish new research examining the difference between what parents believe children know about food production and children’s understanding of how ingredients are grown and produced.
The Curious Kitchen will be fully accessible and free to visit throughout its run from 27 July to 30 August 2026.
