Rocco Forte Hotels has announced that The Carlton Milan will officially open on 6 November 2025, with reservations now available via telephone and email. Online bookings will open from 2 September. The hotel will be the group’s sixteenth property and second location in Milan, signalling the brand’s continued growth in Italy and the introduction of a new approach to luxury in the city’s historic fashion district.

Located in the heart of Milan, The Carlton will feature dual entrances on Via Senato 5 and Via della Spiga 8. The property has been designed as a modern homage to the original Carlton name, combining architectural heritage with contemporary luxury. The hotel aims to provide guests with an experience that draws on the city’s art, design, cuisine, and wellness culture.

Interiors have been developed by designers Philip Vergeylen and Paolo Moschino in collaboration with Lady Olga Polizzi, Director of Design at Rocco Forte Hotels. The Carlton will offer 71 rooms and suites, each styled to evoke the atmosphere of a private residence, reflecting a personalised approach to hospitality.

The dining offer will be led by Chef Fulvio Pierangelini, featuring a restaurant, cocktail bar, and inner garden designed to offer a sense of calm within Milan’s busy centre. The hotel’s wellness facilities will be anchored by the Irene Forte Spa, which will incorporate nature-led treatments and a focus on longevity. Facilities will include treatment rooms, wet areas, a relaxation lounge, a fitness centre, and a dedicated hair and beauty salon.

Guests will be able to access curated experiences designed to reveal new perspectives on Milan, moving beyond its role as a global fashion hub to highlight its cultural and artistic heritage. Through these bespoke activities, The Carlton aims to position itself as a gateway for visitors looking to engage more deeply with the city’s evolving identity.
