Sea Containers London and Gordon Ramsay Restaurants Global have announced a new partnership that will bring Gordon Ramsay at Sea Containers to London’s South Bank this autumn.
The restaurant will become the hotel’s signature dining experience, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner to hotel guests and diners from across London. Positioned as a destination in its own right, the restaurant will include an outdoor riverside terrace overlooking the River Thames and the London skyline.

The concept has been developed for its setting within Sea Containers London, reflecting the hotel’s design identity, riverside location and wider creative character on the South Bank.
The interiors have been designed by Jacu Strauss, Creative Director and Designer of Lore Group. The scheme takes cues from the building’s transatlantic identity and riverside setting, using rich red tones inspired by Blackfriars Bridge alongside subtle references to classic cruise liner design.
Located on the South Bank, Sea Containers London is a lifestyle hotel inspired by the glamour of a 1920s transatlantic cruise liner. Positioned directly on the River Thames, the hotel combines contemporary design with views across the London skyline.

The hotel is also home to several food, drink and wellness destinations, including Lyaness, the bar from Ryan Chetiyawardana and his team, 12th Knot rooftop bar and terrace, and Curzon Sea Containers Cinema.
The arrival of Gordon Ramsay Restaurants Global at Sea Containers London will add a new restaurant offer to the hotel’s hospitality line-up. The partnership reflects both brands’ stated ambition to create experience-led hospitality destinations combining food, design, culture and location.
“We’re proud to be partnering with Sea Containers London on such a landmark riverside destination. From the outset, there was a clear alignment in vision, ambition and commitment to delivering world-class guest experiences. Sea Containers London has an unmistakable identity and energy, and together we’re creating a restaurant that captures the vibrancy of the South Bank while upholding the standards of quality, atmosphere and hospitality that define our restaurants globally.”
Andy Wenlock, CEO, Gordon Ramsay Restaurants Global
“Sea Containers London has always been about creating culturally relevant experiences that reflect the energy and creativity of the South Bank. Partnering with Gordon Ramsay Restaurants Global brings together two brands that share a commitment to quality, originality and world-class hospitality. This is an important moment for the hotel and for Lore Group as we continue to invest in destinations with strong identity, character and long-term appeal.”
David Taylor, CEO, Lore Group
Gordon Ramsay at Sea Containers is scheduled to open this autumn.
