Landsec, part of The St David’s Partnership, owners of St David’s in Cardiff, has today announced that Welsh bar Gin Ne Sais Quoi has signed to join the destination this summer. The specialist gin and cocktail venue will take a 6,800 sq ft space, split over two floors.

Set to open in August, the new St David’s bar is a second location for the South Wales native brand. The bar will take a prominent site, forming the gateway to the destination from Cardiff Central station, adjacent to Wagamama on Mill Lane.

Offering guests the choice of over 80 gin brands along with live music performances, Gin Ne Sais Quoi will bring something new to Cardiff’s already vibrant mix of restaurants and bars.

Mark Warne, Brand Account Director – F&B and Leisure at Landsec, commented: “We’re always keen to work with local businesses, and Gin Ne Sais Quoi fits the bill both for their Welsh roots and because they’re bringing something new and exciting tothe destination. Our guests are increasingly looking to find household names alongside smaller, local brands so our goal is to curate a unique destination with an array of choices and experiences for everyone. The arrival of Gin Ne Sais Quo at St David’s will add to the dynamic range of F&B operators, whilst also contributing to Cardiff’s energetic nighttime economy.”

Chris Grove, Gin Ne Sais Quoi, added, “Gin Ne Sais Quoi has experienced a great success at Swansea, and the expansion of our brand into Cardiff marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter. The site in St David’s is perfectly situated as the continuation of our growth in Wales, and we look forward to providing the destination’s guests with the premium evening experience we have become famous for.”

This follows the news that award-winning Thai restaurant group Giggling Squid will be opening a regional flagship at St David’s, set to launch later this year.
