London is soon to be home to a new 360-degree rooftop bar and restaurant, Wagtail, which promises to deliver an extraordinary new dining and drinking experience.
With the City coming back to life and London reinforcing its status as one of the world’s number one destinations for restaurants and bars, Wagtail Rooftop Bar & Restaurant will offer city-goers and visitors a first-class experience; partnered with a backdrop of the City’s most iconic landmarks including London Bridge, The Shard, Tower Bridge, St Paul’s, and of course Monument. The venue is a redevelopment of the former House of Fraser Monument, with effortlessly elegant interiors.
Wagtail will open its doors on Thursday 12th May right in the heart of the city, on King William Street in Monument. Led by Executive Chef, Phil Kearsey and Bar Manager, Angelo Bafas, Wagtail’s menus have been curated in line with their ethos of showcasing the very best of the season, with the upmost respect shown to each and every ingredient.
The elegant venue will present three different areas designed to create a set of distinctive experiences. Starting upstairs, guests can indulge in Wagtail’s breath-taking views from The Bar at Wagtail, a rooftop terrace, which delivers stunning 360-degree views of the city, where delectable small plates will be served. Downstairs will host The Restaurant and Terrace at Wagtail; a sophisticated dining experience featuring the works of Michelin-trained, Philip and award-winning Mixologist, Angelos in tandem. Finally, will be The Wagtail Private Dining Room, an intimate room set in the grand and majestic cupola, providing a standout birds-eye view of the River Thames with bespoke feasting menus for multiple occasions.
