As football fans around the world follow this summer’s World Cup, the tournament’s hydration breaks have become a recurring talking point.
Saudi, Welcome to Arabia has used that conversation as the basis for a UK competition offering return economy flights for two and a three-night stay at The Red Sea EDITION.

The competition launched during the England v Norway match on Saturday and is being presented by travel content creator Henry Moores through Instagram, in collaboration with Visit Saudi.
Timed to coincide with heightened fan engagement during the tournament, the campaign uses the usual length of a football hydration break as part of its prize-claim process.
How The Competition Works
To enter, participants must tag a friend they would take to The Red Sea in the comments beneath the Instagram competition post.
Under the published schedule, one participant was due to be selected at random between 8pm and 10pm BST on 14 July. The selected entrant would receive an Instagram direct message and have three minutes to reply and claim the prize.
The three-minute period reflects the usual length of a hydration break during a football match.
If the first selected participant did not reply within the required period, another entrant was to be selected at random.
The competition terms also provide for a further selection between 8pm and 10pm BST on 15 July if the prize remains unclaimed after the first two approaches.
Each selected participant has three minutes to respond. If nobody replies within the required window, the competition may close without a winner.
Prize And Eligibility
The winner and one guest will receive return economy flights and a three-night stay at The Red Sea EDITION.
The competition is open to UK residents aged 18 and over who hold a valid passport and are eligible to travel during the prize period, which runs from 1 August to 15 December 2026.
The winner’s guest must also be aged 18 or over and eligible to travel.
Travel dates and accommodation are subject to availability, and the full competition terms and conditions apply.
The Red Sea Experience
Visitors to The Red Sea can take part in diving and snorkelling, visit beaches on Shura Island, join sailing excursions or spend time within the destination’s resort settings.
