Sæl Spa is set to open at Fulham Pier in May 2026, marking the debut of a dedicated luxury spa and wellness club on the banks of the River Thames in West London.

Arranged across four light-filled floors within Fulham Pier, Sæl Spa has been developed as a modern British wellness destination, bringing together movement, recovery, clinical health and treatment-led services for members. Access will also be extended to Fulham Pier Hotel guests and Lighthouse Social members.

Facilities will include a 15-metre heated rooftop infinity pool and sun terrace overlooking the river, alongside a spa penthouse intended for private social wellness gatherings. Inside, the scheme includes a movement studio with integrated infrared technology, a wet spa with experience showers, a Finnish dry sauna and botanical steam room, and contrast therapy suites combining infrared sauna and cold plunge facilities.

Sæl Spa brings together specialists across wellness and clinical health. Inge Theron, Founder of FaceGym and spa design studio ITANDA, has consulted on the longevity concept and wellness programming direction. Movement programming will include 1:1 reformer Pilates, personal training, yoga, breathwork and sound-based recovery practices.

Clinical services will be provided through 3 Peaks Health, with members able to access diagnostics led by Dr Mark Mikhail. Services will include blood analysis, microbiome mapping and targeted neurostimulation.

Treatment rooms will offer therapies from brands including Omorovicza, SkinCycles, BIOEFFECT and Wildsmith Skin, spanning advanced skin treatments, regenerative bodywork and circadian-aligned massage designed to support energy, recovery and sleep.

A dedicated Recovery Lounge will bring together advanced recovery experiences in a calm setting designed for rest and reset. BON CHARGE, the Official Red Light & Recovery Partner of Fulham FC and Fulham Pier, will integrate red light and PEMF tools into the space, supporting recovery, performance, sleep, wellbeing and beauty treatments.

Sæl Spa will also offer in-house recovery services including IV infusions, compression therapy and immersive vibro-acoustic relaxation beds.

Members will be able to choose from a range of membership options, with personalised wellbeing pathways aligned to individual goals including cognitive clarity, sleep recovery, peak performance and metabolic reset. Membership will also include access to a year-round programme of expert talks, workshops and rooftop sessions.

Pantri, Sæl’s all-day recovery café and social hub, will offer nutrient dense menus developed to support hydration, energy and recovery throughout the day.

The architecture and interiors have been designed to maximise natural light and maintain a constant connection with the River Thames. According to the project team, the design supports circadian rhythm alignment, recovery and cognitive performance. The name Sæl originates from Old English, meaning calm, happy or blessed, while the bespoke lettering is inspired by historic type rediscovered in the Thames.

Sæl Spa forms part of the wider Fulham Pier destination, which includes Fulham Pier Hotel, private members’ club Lighthouse Social, Riverside Market, Brasserie Constance by Michelin-starred chef Adam Byatt, and a programme of events and cultural activity.

“Sæl Spa is designed around how people want to live today, where wellbeing is approached as a connected system. By bringing together movement, recovery, clinical insight and longevity in a beautiful riverside setting, and structuring this through personalised pathways, we support not just how people feel in the moment, but how they function over time. It’s a more considered, measurable approach to wellbeing – and one designed to be returned to.”

Michaela Hurst, Head of Sæl Spa at Fulham Pier

“Sæl Spa is the future of British wellness. We’ve brought together the country’s most exceptional practitioners, bathing rituals, bodywork, and beauty in a single destination where ancient practice meets modern expertise, Sæl Spa is the fullest expression of a concept rooted in science shaped by the best British minds in each field. It’s precise, it’s purposeful, and it’s long overdue.”

Inge Theron, Founder of FaceGym and Consultant at Sæl Spa

“One of the biggest challenges in modern wellness is cutting through the noise. At Sæl Spa, our focus is on helping members understand what their bodies need, using clinical insight to create personalised treatment plans that deliver real, lasting results.”

Dr Mark Mikhail, Founder of 3 Peaks Health
