A new dining destination has opened in the heart of London’s Covent Garden. House of Louie, a four-storey hospitality concept developed by Paris Society, brings together three distinct culinary and entertainment spaces under one roof: the Japanese restaurant Wani Tzuki, the French dining room Louie, and the rooftop Alligator Bar.
Occupying a historic 19th-century townhouse, House of Louie blends cultural and architectural heritage with contemporary design and international flavours. Each of the building’s levels introduces a unique experience, with a narrative approach designed to lead guests through contrasting yet interconnected settings as they move from floor to floor.

The venue opens with Wani Tzuki on the first floor, a reimagined take on izakaya dining led by French-trained chefs. This sleek Japanese restaurant celebrates craftsmanship and seasonal produce, with a menu that highlights traditional Japanese techniques presented through a European culinary lens. Interiors by Joanna Pera Duvocelle offer a restrained, atmospheric environment, combining minimalist Japanese design with the convivial spirit of a traditional bistro.

At the centre of the building is Louie, a French restaurant already known for its refined dining and live jazz. Styled by French designers Dion et Arles, the space features neutral palettes, antique furnishings and delicate interior accents that provide a backdrop for what is described as a soulful, sensory dining experience. Live jazz performances accompany the menu, creating a setting designed for evening escapism.
At the top of the venue, the Alligator Bar brings a more energetic tone, with rooftop views, live DJ sets and regular entertainment. Designed for a livelier crowd, the space is intended for late-night gatherings, cocktails, and casual conversation in a more dynamic setting.

The transformation of the townhouse into House of Louie reflects a vision of storytelling through hospitality, with each floor acting as a chapter in a broader narrative. Neutral tones and curated interiors run throughout the building, linking each of the three venues while allowing each space to retain a distinct identity.
House of Louie’s opening marks a new addition to Covent Garden’s food and drink scene, adding a multi-layered venue that blends French and Japanese cuisine with late-night entertainment. Whether for dinner, drinks or a full evening journey through all three spaces, the concept aims to provide a memorable and versatile experience within one central London location.
