Hammerson has announced that Birmingham-born burger restaurant, Burger & Sauce, has selected Bullring & Grand Central’s Link Street for its latest location, and fourth store in the UK.

The brand aims to give its customers a burger that ticks all the boxes, from taste to price and quality, and Burger & Sauce has signed a 1,200 sq ft unit at Link Street, the street connecting flagship destinations Bullring & Grand Central. The restaurant, designed by local design team, Architecture Design Studio, is set to open its doors opposite vintage clothing store, Harper and Lewis later this month.

The Burger & Sauce Link Street menu features its original handmade burgers, alongside a rotating selection of limited beef and chicken burger ranges, with a variety of sauces, chips, and milkshakes. Burger & Sauce use the freshest ingredients, with products made to order to ensure the highest quality and taste.

Iain Mitchell, UK Commercial Director at Hammerson, said:“Within The Bullring Estate, we strive to provide a mix of well-known international names, while supporting local favourites. Burger & Sauce are following in the footsteps of Vietnamese Street Kitchen, both prime examples of local entrepreneurship taking space with us, and it is always exciting to see Birmingham-based businesses succeed here.”

Saad Masoon of Burger & Sauce added: “Our food is our craft and we are proud to have built a successful brand, based on our simple concept and love of handmade burgers. Signing for a space within the iconic Bullring Estate is a major milestone for Burger & Sauce; when we started the business, we could only dream of operating out of a unit here and to say we will be opening our doors on Link Street soon is a dream come true.”

The safety and wellbeing of its customers, colleagues and retailers is Bullring & Grand Central’s number one priority, and it has introduced a range of measures to keep people safe. These include: the centre’s Crowd Checker, available via Bullring’s website, that helps customers plan their visit by providing live updates on footfall in real-time; a one-way system; fixed hand sanitiser stations;  and clear signage to remind shoppers of the need to social distance.
