Calcot Manor & Spa has opened The Treehouses, a new woodland accommodation offering in the Cotswolds that extends the hotel’s focus on wellness, nature and family-friendly stays.
Designed and built by specialist treehouse company Blue Forest, The Treehouses have been created to sit in harmony with the surrounding woodland, with sustainability guiding the design and build process.

Positioned just beyond the main hotel, The Treehouses at Calcot Manor & Spa overlook uninterrupted fields and countryside, surrounded by oxeye daisies and woodland views. The setting is intended to offer guests a quieter sense of escape, with mornings shaped by birdsong and natural light through the canopy, and evenings centred around the private sauna on the balcony.

Woodland Stays With Private Outdoor Space
Inside, the wood-clad spaces have been designed for slower-paced stays. A calming master bedroom leads to a cosy loft-style twin room, creating a layout suited to couples, friends and young families. A living area opens onto a private deck with outdoor seating and a private sauna.
The interiors, designed by Cathy Birtles, draw on the surrounding landscape through soft natural textures, warm lighting and handcrafted details that complement the Cotswolds setting. Smaller touches are intended to encourage guests of all ages to engage with their surroundings, including binoculars for birdwatching, rewilding maps and a curated pantry of local produce.

Dining And Wider Hotel Facilities
Dining can be arranged in the treehouse through an elevated room service offer, with freshly prepared feasting bakes such as hearty lasagne or creamy fish pie, cooked by the restaurant team and designed to be shared in the cabin. Guests can also take a short walk to The Brasserie for a relaxed three-course meal.

The Treehouses include the wider comforts of a Calcot Manor & Spa stay, including complimentary bike hire, access to the hotel’s award-winning spa and its holistic health and fitness facilities. The result is a woodland stay that combines restorative elements with a playful approach to the countryside setting.
