Shaftesbury Capital has confirmed that The Breakfast Club, the acclaimed all-day breakfast establishment founded by Jonathan Arana-Morton, is set to inaugurate its newest outlet at 55 Neal Street in Covent Garden’s Seven Dials this autumn. The 894-square-foot space will operate as the brand’s latest ‘caf’, offering breakfast, brunch, and lunch while maintaining its signature community-centric, ‘arms wide open’ dining atmosphere.

Known for its ‘feel-good’ approach to hospitality, The Breakfast Club’s menu will include its staple favourites such as ‘Caf Classics’, renowned pancake breakfasts, and a variety of Benedicts. The beverage selection will feature classic cocktails from The Breakfast Club, alongside pressed juices, smoothies, Yorkshire Tea, and coffee made from the brand’s own Morning Glory blend.

Central to The Breakfast Club’s philosophy is a commitment to uplifting hospitality, aiming to make ‘Today a Good Day’ for its staff, patrons, and the broader community. The brand actively engages with local community groups and charities, like Age UK, to address issues of loneliness and isolation. Jonathan Arana-Morton, CEO & Founder, expressed enthusiasm about the new location, stating, “This will be such an exciting opening for us – The Breakfast Club has always called the West End home, and our new Covent Garden location couldn’t be more perfect for our next adventure; it is a fabulous place and community. We can’t wait to get going, doing what we do best, providing good food and drink with our ‘today is going to be a good day’ hospitality, and an arms wide open welcome.”

This announcement follows a series of food and beverage developments in Covent Garden this year, including the launch of Michelin-starred chef Tom Sellers’ Parisian-inspired restaurant, Story Cellar, in Neal’s Yard. Additionally, pasta bar Notto, helmed by top British chef Phil Howard, is slated to open its second location this autumn on Henrietta Street, offering its signature high-quality, freshly prepared Italian dishes.
