Somabay has expanded its hospitality portfolio with the opening of Good Days Boutique Hotel, a 24-room property positioned as a design-led alternative to traditional Red Sea resort accommodation.

Located within the Somabay destination on Egypt’s Red Sea coast, the hotel becomes the seventh property within the development, introducing a more compact, personalised hospitality model focused on exclusivity and guest experience.

Accommodation and Design

The hotel offers a mix of accommodation types, including poolside lodges, lakefront rooms and golf course-facing units. Ridge Rooms provide an upgraded offer, incorporating private terraces and hot tubs. Each room has been individually designed to reinforce the boutique positioning and differentiate the property from larger-scale resorts in the area.

Integrated Retail and Dining

A key aspect of the concept is the integration of retail and leisure within the hotel environment. Guests have access to a range of on-site dining options, including Boulevard for all-day dining and Secret Society for casual offerings, alongside a series of retail-led concepts such as Kilim, Up-Fuse, Kai and Jessie’s Boutique.

Additional amenities include FIX by Social for coffee and Sno for ice cream, forming part of a broader mixed-use approach that combines food, beverage and retail within a single guest journey.

Wider Destination Offer

Beyond the hotel, Somabay Marina provides access to a wider selection of restaurants, bars and retail outlets. These include Barbouni Restaurant, focused on Mediterranean cuisine, and Sobar Rooftop, offering an Asian-inspired small plates concept.

The wider destination also supports a range of leisure activities, from wellness-led experiences such as yoga and Pilates to outdoor pursuits including diving, desert safaris and cycling routes along the coast.

Good Days Boutique Hotel is positioned as a smaller-scale, experience-led addition to the Somabay portfolio, with rates starting from £182 per night for a standard double room.
