Thorpe Park Hotel & Spa in Leeds has received a five-bubble rating from The Good Spa Guide, becoming the only spa in the city to earn the recognition. The accolade follows an anonymous review process conducted by the guide’s ‘spa spy’ team, assessing treatment quality, customer service, facilities, and overall atmosphere.

Located in the city’s eastern suburbs, the four-star hotel has built a reputation for its focus on wellness and relaxation. According to The Good Spa Guide, the spa’s calm environment, professional staff, and extensive treatment menu were contributing factors in awarding the top-tier rating.

Lisa Can, Spa Manager at Thorpe Park Hotel & Spa, commented: “Receiving this award is a real reflection of the amazing work our team puts in every day. We’re all about creating a place where people can truly unwind, and this recognition just reinforces why we do what we do.

“We want each and every guest to leave here feeling completely rejuvenated and relaxed.”

The hotel, owned by hospitality group Thwaites, has recently introduced a new Spa Lounge, adding to its existing amenities. Designed as an adults-only retreat, the lounge includes plush seating, heated loungers, a rehydration station, and access to guided meditation sessions via virtual reality headsets.

This new addition complements the spa’s existing offering, which includes treatments using products from skincare brands Caudalie and TempleSpa. These treatments are available alongside the hotel’s full range of wellness facilities, which aim to promote rest and rejuvenation.

Guests can conclude their visit with a meal at the on-site AA Rosette restaurant, The Curious Kitchen, known for its seasonal menus and relaxed dining atmosphere. The inclusion of dining options forms part of the hotel’s broader wellness approach, offering a seamless experience from treatment room to restaurant table.

The five-bubble rating marks a milestone for the hotel’s spa offering, which continues to expand its services with a focus on guest experience and wellbeing.
