KIBOU Japanese Kitchen & Bar has secured an 8,000 sq ft Covent Garden site for its first central London restaurant, with the 210-cover flagship scheduled to open in early 2027.
Shaftesbury Capital has announced that KIBOU Japanese Kitchen & Bar has signed for its first central London restaurant, taking a c. 8,000 sq ft unit at 1a Tavistock Street in Covent Garden.
A 210-Cover London Flagship
Targeted to open in early 2027, the 210-cover venue will be the largest restaurant to date for KIBOU Japanese Kitchen & Bar and will serve as the independently owned premium-casual dining group’s flagship London location.
Design and fit-out will be led by Q&A Interior Design Ltd, which has created every KIBOU restaurant to date. The interior will also feature original hand-painted murals by Gloucestershire-based artist Martyna Sabadasz, whose work is a defining element of KIBOU’s visual identity and restaurant experience.
