Immersive Hospitality Management has unveiled a £42 million redevelopment of its flagship London property, the Corus Hotel Hyde Park. The historic site will re-emerge in late Autumn 2026 as Hyde & Seek, a 309-room lifestyle hotel and new member of Marriott Bonvoy’s Tribute Portfolio.
Located at 1 Lancaster Gate, directly opposite Hyde Park, the project marks a major repositioning of one of London’s most prominent freehold assets. The former hotel closed in September 2025 to undergo a full renovation, with the reimagined Hyde & Seek set to blend upscale design, bold character and historical charm.

The design direction embraces a bohemian aesthetic, fusing serene architecture with rebellious interiors that pay homage to the creative spirit of 1960s and 70s West London. Influences from designers Zandra Rhodes and Ossie Clark, along with artists like David Hockney and David Hicks, are reflected in the interiors, which feature patterned boho wall coverings, heritage furniture and mahogany and marble desks.
Design has been led by interior specialists Goddard Littlefair alongside architects Unwin Jones Partnership, with County Contractors and Gardiner & Theobald LLP completing the project team. The renovation draws from the area’s Georgian and Victorian roots, with the building’s white stucco façade preserved, while interiors incorporate symmetry, ornamentation and colours inspired by the natural landscape of nearby Hyde Park.
The hotel’s interiors also introduce Moroccan elements such as Zellige-style tiles, ornate lanterns and Tadelakt plasterwork. Contrasting colours like lilac and green or navy and pink add layers of visual intrigue, while the overall palette blends earthy tones with bolder statements.

Guestrooms have been redesigned for comfort and individuality, aligning modern function with flamboyant detailing. Public areas will include a new glass-roofed courtyard filled with greenery, providing flexible co-working space and a lounge-like setting for both hotel guests and local professionals.

Hyde & Seek will feature multiple dining and social venues offering all-day service, from afternoon teas to working lunches, evening dinners and cocktails. The hotel will also house a gym and studio to accommodate both guests and the surrounding neighbourhood.

Andrew Khoo, Chairman of Immersive Hospitality Management, commented:
“Hyde & Seek is set to become a unique and eccentric addition to the London hotel scene. This project boldly pushes the boundaries of expectation, rejecting the dull and embracing the charm of the location. We are incredibly proud of this transformation and grateful to the incredible team of partners helping to bring this vision to life. We look forward to working with Marriott International to meet the diverse and ever-changing needs of our guests, and we can’t wait to unveil Hyde & Seek next year.”
Hyde & Seek will be situated within walking distance of Paddington Station, Oxford Street, Mayfair and Queensway, and aims to offer a peaceful yet dynamic retreat for business and leisure travellers.
