Waldorf Astoria London Admiralty Arch has unveiled four new leadership appointments as it progresses towards its anticipated 2026 launch. The landmark development has named Mathilde Brallet as Commercial Director, Kane Savage as Director of Sales, Marie-Charlotte Gauter as Director of Operations, and Carly Gill as HR Director. Each brings significant experience in luxury hospitality to the forthcoming hotel, located at one of London’s most recognised historic addresses.

Mathilde Brallet joins the team following a successful tenure as Commercial Director at Conrad London St. James. A graduate of the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne, she began her career through Hilton’s graduate management programme, holding subsequent roles at Hilton Strasbourg and Hilton London Metropole. With over 17 years in the industry, she now leads commercial strategy for the new hotel.

Newly appointed Director of Sales, Kane Savage, brings more than ten years’ experience, including previous commercial roles at Langham Hotels & Resorts. He returns to the Hilton fold, having worked with the Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts brand in the UK earlier in his career. His track record includes fostering relationships across the travel, consortia, and entertainment industries.

Marie-Charlotte Gauter, who joins as Director of Operations, has worked with General Manager Guillaume Marly twice before. Her previous position at Hotel Café Royal saw her rise to Director of Operations in 2025. She is a past recipient of the Acorn Award ‘30 Under 30’ in 2023 and completed an internship at The Dinex Group in New York, founded by Daniel Boulud, now a chef partner for the London hotel.

Carly Gill, the new HR Director, has worked across both operations and human resources in a 15-year career. Most recently serving as Cluster HR Manager for multiple Hilton properties in London, her leadership has driven multi-site people strategies, apprenticeships, and social impact initiatives.

General Manager Guillaume Marly commented: “Mathilde, Kane, Marie-Charlotte and Carly are outstanding leaders who bring their expertise, ambition and vision to Waldorf Astoria London Admiralty Arch, one of the world’s most exciting new luxury hotels. I am delighted to welcome them all to the team as we prepare for this landmark opening.”

The Waldorf Astoria London Admiralty Arch will become the first Waldorf Astoria property in London. Located at the end of The Mall, directly opposite Buckingham Palace, the site offers views across Trafalgar Square and Nelson’s Column. Originally commissioned by King Edward VII in memory of Queen Victoria, the building is being restored under a partnership between Hilton and Reuben Brothers.

Upon opening, the hotel will comprise 100 rooms, including 25 suites, as well as 17,500 square feet of private residences. A key feature will be the presidential suite, positioned to overlook both Buckingham Palace and Trafalgar Square. Acclaimed chefs Clare Smyth and Daniel Boulud are set to oversee the hotel’s signature restaurants.

Hilton, which operates 24 global brands, continues to expand its luxury footprint through strategic partnerships and landmark redevelopments. The Waldorf Astoria brand is among its flagship offerings in the premium hospitality sector.
