Maslow’s has opened its third London location, Maslow’s Kensington, at The Kensington Building on Wrights Lane.

The 30,000 sq ft members’ house is the first West London opening from the team behind Mortimer House in Fitzrovia and 1 Warwick in Soho. It has been developed around the idea of bringing work, wellbeing, fitness and hospitality together within the same daily environment.

The opening places Maslow’s Kensington in a Kensington neighbourhood that has become increasingly associated with wellness, specialist clinics, fitness clubs and medical spa concepts. Rather than treating wellbeing as a separate amenity, the house has been designed to support focus, energy and long-term health throughout the working day.

Guy Ivesha, Founder and CEO of Maslow’s, led the redevelopment of The Plaza Hotel in New York before founding Maslow’s in 2017. For him, the Kensington opening reflects a longer-term ambition for the business.

“We created Maslow’s Kensington in response to a shift we’re seeing in how people want to work and live. Too often, wellbeing exists separately from the working day, something people try to fit in before work, during lunch or afterwards.”

Fitness And Wellbeing Built Into The Working Day

At the centre of the house is a fitness and wellbeing programme designed around 15, 30, 45 and 60-minute rituals, intended to fit around busy schedules. The offer includes reformer Pilates, strength and conditioning, TRX, breathwork, sound healing, running clubs and restorative movement sessions, alongside wellbeing treatments, workshops and longevity-focused experiences.

The members-only gym includes Technogym Artis cardio equipment, a customised Paragon x Gym80 strength training line and a dedicated movement studio equipped with Balanced Body reformers. Performance diagnostic tools, including Technogym Checkup and InBody assessments, allow members to monitor fitness, recovery and health metrics.

Launch programming for June includes weekly Maslow’s Run Club sessions with former Great Britain athlete Georgia Francis, reformer and mat Pilates classes, guided breathwork workshops with BREAFLEX, sound bath reset experiences with Selia Sound and Lolo Sound, and a series of member mixers and recovery-focused events.

Oria Introduces A Nutrition-Led Café Concept

The wellbeing offer is supported by Oria by Maslow’s, a new nutrition-led café concept led by Head Chef Talia Trup. The menu has been developed in collaboration with dieticians Uniquely Health, with a focus on making healthier choices easier within the working day.

Oria’s menu centres on seasonal produce, whole foods and functional nutrition, with no refined sugars and an emphasis on unprocessed ingredients. Drinks served throughout the day include lion’s mane coffee, kombucha, cold-pressed immunity shots and nutrient-rich smoothies designed to support energy, digestion and recovery.

A House Designed Around Movement, Light And Focus

Maslow’s Kensington spans the ground and first floors of The Kensington Building. The house combines social spaces, studios and gym facilities, shared workspaces, private studies and meeting rooms.

The interiors have been led by Mehrai Design, with final styling and art curation by Studio Mercy. The design has been informed by psychology, neuroaesthetics and human-centred principles. Four-metre-high windows bring natural daylight into the building and include operable fresh-air panels to allow access to natural ventilation.

A sculptural spiral staircase has been included to encourage movement through the building, while spaces including the Pied à Terre, the Living Room and the Den are designed to allow members to move between focused work, collaboration and social interaction.

The opening extends Maslow’s London portfolio into West London and develops the group’s positioning around hospitality-led workspaces shaped by wellbeing, design and daily routines.
