Amouage Opens Summer Residency At Nobu Pool

Nobu Hotel Marbella has opened its summer season with a month-long Amouage residency at Nobu Pool, centred on the luxury perfume house’s new Love Hibiscus fragrance.

Running from 15 May to 15 June 2026, the collaboration marks Nobu Hotel Marbella’s first partnership with an elite luxury perfumery house. The residency brings together hospitality, fragrance, retail and guest experience across the adults-only Nobu Pool.

The pool area has been dressed in hibiscus red, with scarlet accents introduced across loungers and umbrellas. The poolside menu also includes a signature hibiscus iced drink and Amouage hibiscus palmiers, referencing the salted caramel note within Love Hibiscus.

A dedicated Amouage pop-up, anchored by the brand’s caterpillar table, is guiding guests through the Love Hibiscus collection each week. Every purchase includes a handcrafted cloth flower made in Milan and a Love Hibiscus sample.

The fragrance is also being introduced into the hotel’s guest experience. Love Hibiscus is now provided as a welcome amenity in rooms, while villa guests receive the complete Love Hibiscus bath line, including shower gel and hair mist. Amouage displays and fragrance testers are also being presented at hotel reception throughout the residency.

Private Amouage masterclasses are being held weekly at Nobu Pool by invitation. Each session is designed for ten guests and includes an introduction to Love Hibiscus, a hibiscus iced drink, hibiscus palmiers and a take-home gift. An artist-in-residence is also hand-painting a postcard for each guest.

Founded in 1983 as “The Gift of Kings”, Amouage began as a fragrance commissioned by Sultan Qaboos of Oman as a gift for visiting dignitaries to the Sultanate. Love Hibiscus is the newest addition to the house’s Secret Garden collection. Inspired by the hibiscus flower of the Omani landscape, the fragrance was created with perfumer Jérôme Epinette.

Hibiscus grows throughout the beachside gardens of Nobu Hotel Marbella, reflecting the resort’s Golden Mile setting.

Spain’s first Nobu Hotel, Nobu Hotel Marbella sits within the Puente Romano Marbella resort. The property combines Japanese minimalism with Andalusian character, with signature dining by Chef Nobu Matsuhisa, the adults-only Nobu Pool and the late-night setting of La Plaza.

The Amouage x Nobu Pool residency is open daily from 11am to 7pm.
