Accor has opened greet London Harlow, the first UK hotel for its greet economy brand. Converted from an existing hotel, the 119-room property is in Harlow Sculpture Town in Essex, around 20 minutes’ drive from London Stansted Airport, with direct trains to London Liverpool Street.

greet London Harlow is owned by Proark and managed by Aimbridge Hospitality EMEA under a franchise agreement with Accor. It concentrates on the essentials: comfortable beds, good showers, a generous breakfast, reliable Wi-Fi and friendly service.

The Sculpt Restaurant serves a buffet breakfast alongside British favourites and internationally inspired dishes, while The Sculpt Bar is a relaxed space for drinks, light bites and live sport. Meeting and event facilities include a suite and a range of flexible spaces for conferences, meetings and social gatherings of up to 180 guests.

“The arrival of greet marks an important milestone for Accor, reinforcing our commitment to diversifying our economy portfolio in the UK. As traveller expectations continue to evolve, brands like greet enable us to meet increasing demand for affordable hospitality that combines comfort, character and purpose, without compromising on value.”

Aiden McAuley, Spokesperson, Accor UK & Ireland

Launched in 2019 in Beaune, France, greet is Accor’s select-service brand for travellers looking for comfort, personality and value. It has more than 45 hotels open and over 10 in the pipeline, and guests have access to ALL Accor, the group’s booking platform and loyalty programme.

“greet London Harlow represents a new chapter for the hotel and aligns with our ambition to deliver high-quality hospitality experiences that combine strong value with local character. We look forward to welcoming guests to discover the brand’s feel-good approach to travel.”

The opening adds to Accor’s UK portfolio of more than 200 hotels across around 20 brands, following recent launches including The Queen at Chester – Handwritten Collection and the forthcoming Mövenpick Golf Resort & Spa Hampshire Old Thorns.
