Fourteen independent food businesses, a bar and a coffee shop will share Clocktower Works, a 17,500 sq ft food hall planned for Victoria Centre in Nottingham and scheduled to open in summer 2026.
Blend Family, the operator behind food halls including Cutlery Works and Cambridge Street Collective in Sheffield, Kargo MKT at Salford Quays and Tower Bridge Collective in London, is creating the venue in the centre’s Clocktower dining quarter as part of the next phase of investment there. Its Alfred Works in Digbeth, Birmingham, is also on the way.
Calling independent food businesses
Blend Family works with its Food Partners through long-term partnerships, providing infrastructure and operational support as well as space, to help them scale while keeping their own identities. It is now inviting expressions of interest from independent food businesses, via marketing@blend.family or the Alfred Works website.

A new chapter for Victoria Centre
Victoria Centre welcomes millions of visitors each year and sits at the meeting point of Nottingham’s retail, cultural and transport hubs, drawing local residents, students and visitors. The city’s café scene is growing too, with Black Sheep Coffee expanding in Nottinghamshire.

Victoria Centre is owned by SGS UK Retail and asset managed by Pradera Lateral, and Metis Real Estate Advisors were leasing agents on the deal.
