tender by Niall Keating, the restaurant at Manchester’s Stock Exchange Hotel, has received a Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice award, placing it among the top 10% of restaurants worldwide on the review platform.

Tripadvisor’s Travellers’ Choice awards recognise businesses that consistently receive strong reviews from their guests. Winners are selected on both the quality and the number of reviews and ratings submitted over a 12-month period, so the recognition reflects the experiences of diners themselves.

Led by Niall Keating, who reflected on his first two years at tender for Hospitality & Leisure News this summer, tender occupies the restored trading floor of the Stock Exchange Hotel and offers an approachable take on luxury dining.

For the festive season, tender is serving a three-course Festive Menu at lunch and dinner, priced at £42 per person and offering refined takes on festive favourites.

Starters include cauliflower soup with toasted almonds and lemon; Cornish hake with pickled shallots and curried mussels; and a velouté with braised leeks. For mains, there is a ballotine of Norfolk turkey or braised beef cheek, both served with herby mash, honey roast and braised red cabbage, or a butternut, pecan and sage wellington with Chantenay carrots, Paris mushroom and Riesling sauce.

To finish, guests can choose a classic Christmas pudding, a Bûche de Noël (Yule log), or Lancashire Bomber cheese with chutney and crackers.

In the heart of Manchester city centre, tender welcomes hotel guests and visitors alike, for relaxed dinners as well as special occasions.
