Southbank Centre Winter Market

The Winter Market returns to the South Bank from 2 November 2026 to 4 January 2027, with alpine-style chalets along the Queen’s Walk between the Royal Festival Hall and Jubilee Gardens, under Hungerford Bridge. Food is the main draw: hearty winter street food sits alongside stalls serving Dutch pancakes, churros and cookies, while pop-up bars pour mulled wine, hot cider and hot chocolate.

Craft traders sell gifts, jewellery, decorations and fashion, so it is a useful stop for Christmas shopping on the way to a show or a riverside walk. The market is open daily from 11am to 10pm, with craft stalls closing at 9pm, and it is closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve.

It is a short walk from Waterloo and Embankment stations.
