Manchester Christmas Markets

Manchester’s Christmas Markets open on Friday 6 November 2026 and run until Tuesday 22 December, with the stalls in Albert Square and Cathedral Gardens staying open until Sunday 3 January. More than 210 stalls are spread across ten city centre sites this year, including a new market in Lincoln Square, just off Brazennose Street, and a new layout in St Ann’s Square with extra craft, food and drink traders.

Albert Square is the main hub, with a 50-metre Ferris wheel, a helter-skelter and a new pop-up pub alongside the food, drink and gift stalls. Cathedral Gardens has a covered ice rink run by Skate Manchester, and further markets line King Street, Exchange Square, New Cathedral Street, the Corn Exchange and Market Street.

The Manchester Christmas Parade takes place on Sunday 6 December, with further details still to be announced.
