Christmas at Kew

Christmas at Kew returns on selected evenings from 13 November 2026 to 3 January 2027, with a new after-dark trail through the Royal Botanic Gardens. This year’s route includes four world premiere installations: Infinite Choir, a sound and light piece by Squidsoup; Drift by Studio Vertigo, with illuminated spheres rising almost two metres; a moving floral meadow by TILT; and an animated willow tree by ITHACA studio. The Palm House Pond show returns with chandeliers and fountains.

For the first time there are adult-only evenings, on 3 and 9 December, plus quiet access sessions for visitors who prefer a calmer trail. Street food, hot chocolate, toasted marshmallows and mulled wine are served along the way, and the Botanical Brasserie has festive menus.

Off-peak adult tickets start at £29.50, with peak tickets at £37. Entry is by timed slot between 4.20pm and 10pm.
