The Trafalgar St. James, part of the Curio Collection by Hilton, has unveiled the initial stage of its extensive £6 million refurbishment. Located in central London, this luxury hotel has introduced its newly redesigned lobby and the all-new Rockwell Bistro & Wine Bar. This project marks the first step in a broader renovation plan, which will include the addition of six new Spring Gardens Suites, scheduled to be revealed in February 2025.
The Rockwell Bistro & Wine Bar offers an all-day destination blending refined interiors with a relaxed, neighbourhood-style atmosphere. Guests can begin their mornings with breakfast and speciality coffee, transitioning into evenings featuring an array of all-day deli-inspired dishes and creative small plates. The bistro also boasts a curated wine list designed to cater to both connoisseurs and casual drinkers.
The newly redesigned lobby integrates seamlessly with the Rockwell Bistro, both spaces benefitting from a complete interior overhaul by Design LSM, a studio known for projects like 100 Queen’s Gate, Curio Collection by Hilton. With a modern aesthetic, the refreshed lobby features a warm colour palette and plush furnishings, providing a tranquil retreat from the busy streets of London.
The upcoming Spring Gardens Suites will reflect the hotel’s commitment to a premium guest experience. The suites will combine contemporary design with bespoke amenities, featuring interiors that balance bold colour schemes with natural elements such as dark oak and rattan.
These six suites will complement the hotel’s existing 131 rooms, which already include three signature suites. Guests can also visit The Rooftop, a popular skyline bar known for its striking views over Trafalgar Square, offering expertly crafted cocktails and elegant interiors.
