A farm-to-table restaurant by chef Yoji Tokuyoshi, a gallery and an auditorium sit alongside production at Onitsuka Innovative Factory, Onitsuka Tiger’s first dedicated production facility, which opened on 1 January 2026 in Tottori Prefecture, Japan.

Tottori is the birthplace of founder Kihachiro Onitsuka, and the Japanese fashion brand has conceived the site as a cultural hub as well as a factory, combining design, manufacturing and public-facing spaces to share its vision and Japanese craftsmanship with a global audience.

Ristorante ONITSUKA TIGER

Ristorante ONITSUKA TIGER, curated by Tokuyoshi, takes a farm-to-table approach centred on local ingredients, extending the brand beyond fashion into lifestyle and dining.

Gallery, shop and auditorium

An adjacent gallery presents archival items and curated exhibitions on the brand’s heritage and craftsmanship. The Onitsuka Gallery Store, which opened on 16 January, is the brand’s first shop in Tottori Prefecture and has been designed for a slower, more considered visit in keeping with the factory setting, while a flexible auditorium hosts talks, presentations and cultural programming for local residents and visitors.

“This facility serves as Onitsuka Tiger’s new epicenter, integrating global design and technology with a foundation in Japanese craftsmanship. As we share our creations from our founder’s birthplace to the world, we are also committed to the succession of artisan skills and the nurturing of future talent, further evolving the values we have cultivated as a brand born in Japan.”

Ryoji Shoda, Head of Onitsuka Tiger Company

Governor of Tottori Prefecture Shinji Hirai and Sakaiminato City Mayor Kentaro Date attended the opening ceremony. Developed in partnership with Tottori Prefecture, the project supports job creation, skills development and tourism in the region.
