Grosvenor has unveiled the addition of two distinguished dining venues to Liverpool ONE’s array of hospitality offerings. The Real Greek, an authentic Greek dining concept, and The Botanist, an artisan cocktail bar and restaurant, are making their debut in the city, enriching the destination with their unique culinary experiences.
Situated on Paradise Street, The Real Greek occupies a 3,900 square-foot space, accommodating 162 guests indoors and 38 outdoors. The restaurant is adorned in the brand’s iconic blue and white hues, complemented by Mediterranean-inspired artworks and photography. It offers a traditional Greek menu, featuring a variety of meze, Souvlaki Wraps, Greek salads, and classic desserts like Baklava, epitomizing the essence of Greek dining in Liverpool.
Concurrently, The Botanist is introducing its renowned restaurant and bar concept to Liverpool’s leisure scene for the first time. Located on the leisure terrace of Chavasse Park, adjacent to Loretta’s Parkside Tavern and the upcoming Flight Club, the 6,400 square foot establishment presents a menu that includes salads, noodles, steaks, fish & chips, and burgers, alongside its signature crafted cocktails. The Botanist promises an invigorating atmosphere with live music and a terrace overlooking the park, offering a distinctive dining and entertainment experience.
Rob Deacon, Grosvenor’s Director of Asset Management, expressed his enthusiasm, noting that Liverpool ONE has become a prime location for established UK brands to launch in the city. He highlighted the strategic addition of The Real Greek and The Botanist as part of their commitment to offering a diverse mix of culinary, entertainment, and leisure options to meet the continuous demand at Liverpool ONE.
Sandro Spahiu, Managing Director at The Real Greek, shared his excitement about the new location in Liverpool ONE, marking the brand’s first opening of 2024. He emphasized the strong demand for Greek cuisine in the UK and expressed eagerness to bring The Real Greek’s authentic dining experience to Liverpool’s vibrant community.
This announcement follows a report of a 9% increase in visitor numbers to Liverpool ONE in the initial three weeks of January 2024 compared to the previous year, marking the strongest start to a year in over five years. This surge in foot traffic is partly attributed to the positive influence of Gravity MAX, a key leisure brand, on overall visitor numbers and spending, following the transformation of the former Debenhams store.
