Why book a supplier Q&A

Put the people behind your business in front of the hotels, restaurants, bars and venues you want to work with.

  • Reach the people you sell toYour interview sits alongside our coverage of openings, launches and the people shaping hospitality and leisure.
  • Your story, in your wordsNo press release rewrite. Readers hear directly from you about what you do, how you work and what you have learned.
  • Put a face to the namePeople buy from people. A proper interview with your photo builds trust before the first call or meeting.
  • Something worth sharingUse the link on LinkedIn, in newsletters, in sales emails and on your website. A feature on an independent title carries more weight than a post on your own blog.
  • It keeps workingYour Q&A stays on HAL and in our Q&A section, where people can find it in search long after it first goes live.
  • We do the heavy liftingYou answer ten questions. We write the introduction, edit to our house style, add your photos and publish it.

Before you start

How long should my answers be?

Aim for 50 to 150 words for each answer, so around 1,000 words in all. Short, clear answers in your own words read best, and each box shows a word count as you type.

Why do you charge for supplier Q&As?

Good question. Every Q&A takes real editorial work: we read and edit your answers, write the introduction, prepare your photos, set the page up for search, then publish and share it. Charging for supplier features means:

  • Your interview will run. Once you have booked, you are not waiting and hoping to be picked for coverage.
  • Readers can trust us. Paid features are always labelled Partner insight and kept separate from our independent journalism, which is what makes a feature on HAL worth having.
  • Venue Q&As stay free. Partner features help pay for our news coverage and the free interviews with the people who run hotels, restaurants, bars and venues.
  • It lasts. You get a permanent feature with your words, photos and a link to your website, not an advert that disappears when the campaign ends.
How is it labelled?

Supplier Q&As carry a Partner insight label at the top, so readers know they are paid features. Read about Partner insight.

How do I pay?

The last step of the form is payment: £195 including VAT by card, handled securely by Stripe. Your booking is confirmed as soon as the payment goes through.

What photos should I send?

A clear, recent headshot is essential, ideally at least 1,200 pixels wide. Photos of your projects or products help bring the interview to life.

Can our PR agency book it for us?

Yes. Choose “I am sending it on their behalf” at the start of the form and add your own details. You can pay on their behalf, and we will email you the link when the interview is live, and the interviewee too if you add their email.

I run a hotel, restaurant or venue

Q&As for venues and the people who run them are free. Put yourself forward here.
