Atria Watford, one of the UK’s most popular retail and leisure destinations, is pleased to announce that Popeyes® will open at the centre next week, on Friday, 19th July.
Spanning almost 400 sq metres, the new store is located on the High Street and will create 80 new jobs for the local community.
Bringing New Orleans Flavours to Watford
Known for the Chicken Sandwich that ‘broke the internet’ when it launched in the US in 2019, Popeyes® uses 100% fresh chicken, marinated for 12 hours in the bold and flavourful Cajun seasonings of Louisiana. The menu also features Hot Wings and Tenders, as well as original Southern Biscuits and Gravy, and Cajun Rice, aiming to bring a taste of New Orleans to Watford.
On the day of the opening, there are giveaways and activities planned, including free chicken sandwiches for a year for the first three people in the queue. Doors will open at 11 am on opening day, with the queue officially starting at 9 am. Popeyes® will also launch its Breakfast menu starting Saturday, 20th July.
Atria Watford is a leading retail and leisure destination, covering 1.4 million sq ft and situated in Watford, an affluent North London neighbourhood. The centre is home to hundreds of brands and dining destinations, from small independents to household names, including NEXT, Mango, Uniqlo, Pizza Express, and Joe & The Juice.
