Lendlease has confirmed the opening of The Coffee House by Signorelli within Stratford Cross’ recently completed Turing Building. This latest addition reinforces the commitment to offering a diverse mix of amenities for office occupiers and the surrounding East London community.

The 229 sq ft coffee shop marks Signorelli‘s fourth location in Stratford and second within Stratford Cross, underscoring its strong local presence. The Coffee House aims to deliver an elevated coffee experience with high-quality blends alongside artisan pastries, freshly baked at Bakehouse by Signorelli, just around the corner.

Stratford Cross’ Expanding Hospitality Scene

The arrival of The Coffee House follows significant developments at Stratford Cross, including the opening of Gordon Ramsay’s 10,000 sq ft Bread Street Kitchen & Bar at The Pavilion. Complementing the area’s independent food and beverage offerings, Hera brings Greek-inspired cuisine, while Templar offers European small plates and a wine bar experience. These openings coincided with the completion of the 350,000 sq ft Grade A office space in the Turing Building and the launch of Everyman cinema, enhancing Stratford Cross’ reputation as a dynamic destination.

A Key Addition to a Growing Cultural Hub

Guy Thomas, Head of Leasing at Lendlease, highlighted the impact of this latest opening:

“The opening of The Coffee House underscores Stratford Cross’ growing reputation as a vibrant cultural hub, as another key element that caters to the growing community of creatives, office workers, and students. Building on the success of the amenities introduced at the end of 2024 – and with the completion of the new bridge that directly links with the London College of Fashion – Stratford Cross’ growth and position makes it a key contributor to the vision for the Olympic Legacy area, providing a world-class collection of offices, homes, and commercial space.”

Signorelli’s Commitment to Quality and Community

Rebecca Rosmini, Chief Executive Officer at The Coffee House, shared her excitement about the expansion:

“Opening The Coffee House is a significant milestone for us. Inspired by the warmth and success of our first location, we are excited to bring our passion for authentic Italian coffee and artisan baking to the heart of the Turing Building. This space perfectly embodies our commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and creating a welcoming community where people can connect over exceptional coffee and freshly baked pastries.”

The leasing process was managed by Savills, CF Commercial, and Shelley Sandzer on behalf of Lendlease, with RSR Properties representing The Coffee House.

As Stratford Cross continues to evolve, The Coffee House further enhances the area’s appeal as a hub for work, leisure, and cultural experiences.
