Templeton Garden – the most recent property in the portfolio of new lifestyle brand, Miiro – welcomes Liam Fauchard-Newman as the hotel’s Executive Head Chef, leading the launch of the hotel’s highly anticipated new modern British restaurant; Pippin’s, and the neighbourhood café-meets-deli; Pip’s. With nearly two decades’ experience in the industry, Liam brings with him a passion for British gastronomy, creating elevated twists on classics that evoke a familiar sense of nostalgia.
Liam joins Templeton Garden from his most recent position as Head Chef at the Holborn Dining Room within the Rosewood London. Here, Liam led a large team, delivering luxury 5-star service. His previous experience also includes some of the capital’s most esteemed establishments, The Ledbury in Notting Hill and Kitchen W8 in Kensington.

In his role at Templeton Garden, Liam is responsible for developing the culinary direction at both Pippin’s and Pip’s. He plans to lead the charge by building a space that is both welcoming and elevated, exceptional and playful, featuring culinary creativity and personal favourites. Liam has drawn inspiration from his previous experience, in the kitchens of some of London’s notable institutions, and his own love for food, to create menus that evoke a sense of nostalgia. His passion for sourcing local foods is woven in throughout the menus, with foraged elements from the restaurant’s own garden incorporated into some of the dishes, and ingredients sourced from independent suppliers, that he has built a personal connection with.
On being appointed Executive Head Chef, Liam said, “I’m delighted to be joining the team at Templeton Garden. It is an absolute privilege to see a project come to life from start to finish and to have the creative freedom to help develop concepts that mean a lot to me. My inspiration for the menu is simple, I asked myself what I like to eat, and that is what will be featured. It’s playful, it’s fun and it aims to warm the soul.”
Pippin’s is located in the heart of the hotel – with 62 covers, the large home-from-home dining room features an open kitchen on one side, immersing guests in the theatre of cooking, and large windows on the other, looking out onto the property’s extensive garden, where further outdoor seating is available. Liam takes great pride in creating memorable experiences for his guests, and this has played a big part in the shaping of the menus, each dish designed to have satisfaction at its core, and to make up part of a joyful meal shared. Featuring established flavour combinations, including rhubarb and custard, and chicken and chips.
Pip’s is a neighbourhood café-meets-deli with its own street entrance separate to the hotel, designed to interact with Earl’s Court locals and hotel guests. With 32 covers, Pip’s is open all day from Monday through to Sunday. Offering a selection of fresh pastries, bread and coffee from the counter, for a quick grab-to-go experience. For guests looking for more casual dining, the café will serve a breakfast menu featuring brunch classics from 7.00AM-11.30AM, lunch from 11.30AM-5.30PM, followed by dinner from 5.30PM- 10.00PM. Pip’s stands on its own as a neighbourhood favourite, tucked away from the busy streets of Earl’s Court.
Templeton Garden will follow the success of Miiro’s property launches; Le Grand Hôtel Cayré in Paris, Borneta in Barcelona, and The Mansard in Gstaad all in 2024, in addition to the upcoming openings Miiro Palais in Autumn 2025 and Miiro Maria Theresia in Winter 2025.
