This July, food lovers and globetrotters alike are in for a treat as Arcade, the culinary powerhouse behind the hit Arcade Centre Point on Tottenham Court Road, expands its gastronomic empire. The anticipated second food hall is set to make its grand entrance in the heart of the meticulously restored Battersea Power Station.
Dubbed “Arcade Battersea“, this gastronomic hotspot will boast a generous seating capacity of 500, two distinctive bars, a trio of restaurants, and an intimate private dining room to ensure a one-of-a-kind dining experience.
A total of 13 diverse cuisines will tantalize guests’ taste buds. Among the fresh culinary faces joining Arcade Battersea’s food lineup are Phed Power, delivering fiery stir fries and salads from Isan, Thailand; Siu Siu, serving up Cantonese comfort food influenced by Hong Kong’s roast meat restaurants; and Leccami Gelato, the purveyor of authentic Italian gelato. Meanwhile, crowd favourites like Hero’s Indian fast food, Sushi Kamon’s Japanese sushi, Tipan Tapan’s Nepali street food, and Shatta & Toum’s Middle Eastern shawarma will continue to grace the venue’s global menu.
Drink enthusiasts can quench their thirst at two distinct bars. The Tap Room promises a wall of 32 taps, serving cocktails made from locally sourced ingredients and an array of beers from international and South London breweries. Alternatively, cocktail purists can relish a carefully curated menu of the world’s most famous cocktails at the classic-inspired ABC Bar.
Arcade Battersea also plays host to three new restaurants. Manna, a US-style burger and fried chicken outlet, is set to premiere its first-ever standalone establishment following a successful debut at Arcade Centre Point. This new locale will feature a range of exclusive dishes, each with a nod to British nostalgia such as the Hot Bonnet Fish Filay, Chicken Block Burger, and the Manna Apple Pie.
Joining Manna in the restaurant lineup are Solis, a grilled chicken and steak brand helmed by TĀ TĀ Eatery’s Ana Gonçalves and Zijun Meng, and the famed Taiwanese brand, BAO.
Cokey Sulkin, COO of Arcade, expressed excitement about the expansion. “I’m thrilled to be leading the teams at Arcade Centre Point and Arcade Battersea. We aim to create a drinking and dining destination to attract Londoners and international guests alike via global cuisines and seamless technology in the historic Power Station”.
Arcade’s commitment to nurturing culinary talent is further exemplified by Arcade Create, a partnership with JKS Restaurants. This innovative brand development platform assists chefs and creators in turning their food ideas into reality, offering support from inception through to concept perfection, branding, menu creation, and more.
With a track record of nurturing names like Manna, Shatta & Toum, Hero, and Tipan Tapan, Arcade Create is geared up to introduce a fresh batch of brands to Arcade Battersea. This upcoming dining destination is set to revolutionise the culinary scene, marking a new chapter in London’s vibrant food history.
