A brand-new competitive gaming venue, Spinners, has opened at Touchwood Solihull this summer, promising fun and games for the whole family.

Located next to Cineworld on Upper Jubilee Walk, Spinners opened to the public on 12th July 2024, inviting some healthy competition with friends and family through a wide range of unique games in an Instagram-worthy setting.

A Variety of Games

Spinners offers an array of interactive activities designed to entertain guests of all ages. The venue features Electric Clay Shooting, which brings the countryside pursuit indoors, and Duckpin Bowling, characterised by its reduced lane length and smaller pins and ball. Additionally, guests can enjoy Crazy Golf and Electric Darts, ensuring there’s something for everyone.

Delicious Food and Drinks

While engaging in the interactive activities, guests can indulge in a mouthwatering selection of food. The menu includes loaded fries, artisan pizzas, and sweet pizza desserts. To complement the delicious treats, Spinners offers shake-to-order cocktails with popular classics like the Strawberry Daiquiri and Espresso Martini.

Family-Friendly by Day, Adults-Only by Night

Spinners welcomes under-18s before 6 pm, making it a perfect family-friendly destination during the day. In the evenings, the venue transitions to an adults-only space, providing a relaxed environment for guests to unwind.

Amy Trott, Head of Operations at Spinners UK, expressed her enthusiasm for the new location: “Solihull has a vibrant hospitality scene, and we’re looking forward to being a part of it by bringing the Spinners concept to Touchwood. As our third location in the UK, we have pulled out all the stops for Solihull, which will feature our widest variety of games yet. My personal favourite is the clay shooting, but who doesn’t love a bit of crazy golf!”

Tony Elvin, General Manager at Touchwood, also shared his excitement: “We are delighted to welcome Spinners UK to Touchwood, bringing a new, fresh, and exciting leisure destination to the heart of Solihull. Throughout my time at Touchwood, we have been working hard to bring the right competitive socialising venue to the centre, and I am so pleased we have been able to do just that with Spinners. As a local, I know how much of a demand there is for such a concept.”

Investment and Future Plans

The new site comes after an investment of £1 million by Spinners, with support from HSBC UK to fit out the venue. Spinners Solihull is the third location in the hospitality group’s nationwide roll-out, following successful launches in Reading and Plymouth.

Olha Payne, Business Relationship Manager at HSBC UK, added: “After supporting Spinners with its hugely successful opening in Plymouth last year, we are excited to continue our partnership with the business as it rolls out sites in Solihull and beyond. Experiential bars have proven immensely popular over recent years, and we only see this demand growing over time.”

With its diverse range of games, delicious food, and inviting atmosphere, Spinners is set to become a favourite destination in Solihull for both families and adults looking for a fun and engaging experience.
