Birmingham’s rooftop dining destination, Orelle, has unveiled a limited-edition festive menu in collaboration with Champagne house Laurent-Perrier. The partnership, running until January, offers guests an array of Champagne pairings, bar snacks, and exclusive Christmas cocktails, all served against the backdrop of panoramic city views.
Guests can enjoy Laurent-Perrier’s signature Champagnes, including the Cuvée Rosé Brut and La Cuvée. Premium selections such as Laurent-Perrier Grand Siècle Iteration No 26, Héritage, and Blanc de Blancs Brut Nature are also available by the bottle, each carefully curated to complement the restaurant’s French-inspired cuisine.
In addition to the drinks menu, Orelle has introduced a bar snacks selection designed to pair with Laurent-Perrier’s Champagnes. Highlights include Jersey Rock Oysters with Mignonette dressing, truffle and Parmesan frites, warm comté gougères aged for 24 months, and a charcuterie platter. These delicacies are available in the restaurant’s revamped rooftop bar area, which now features eight poseur tables and 24 stools to accommodate more guests during the festive season.
The bar has also launched a Christmas cocktail menu, created by Bar Manager Tiago Bastos. Signature offerings include:
- Golden Bauble: A blend of spiced rum, coconut water, and cold brew coffee liqueur, finished with white chocolate and cinnamon spices, inspired by Birmingham’s Christmas lights.
- Terry’s Orange: A twist on the classic treat, featuring Cognac, Amaro dark chocolate, and orange foam.
- Ginger Snowball: Advocaat mixed with white vermouth, lime juice, cinnamon syrup, and ginger ale.
- Rum & Coconut Hot Chocolate: A tropical spin on the traditional winter warmer.
- Orelle’s Mulled Wine: A refined take on the festive favourite.
Natasha Levy, Senior Marketing Manager at Orelle, commented on the festive offerings:
“Christmas is one of the best times of the year to enjoy the atmosphere and views from Orelle, and we’re really excited to be partnering with Laurent-Perrier to make the season even more magical.
“Our new Executive Chef, Kiran Survana, has developed exquisite snacks and dishes to match the freshness and finesse of the Champagne, and our Bar Manager Tiago Bastos has created some delicious cocktails to make Christmas drinks out even more special. We can’t wait to welcome guests to our new, more spacious bar area, to celebrate the festive season in style.”
Orelle’s seasonal offerings, combined with the Laurent-Perrier partnership and an enhanced rooftop setting, promise a memorable festive experience for visitors.
