Renowned Irish pub Nancy Spains will open in Manchester’s Northern Quarter on Saturday, 15 March 2025. This marks the pub’s first expansion outside London, bringing its signature mix of Irish hospitality, live music, and Murphy’s Stout to the city.

To celebrate the launch, the first 5,000 pints of Murphy’s will be available for just £2.50 each on opening day. This exclusive offer gives Mancunians a chance to experience the welcoming atmosphere that has made Nancy Spains a favourite in the capital.

The Manchester venue is designed to blend Irish tradition with the city’s vibrant energy. Guests can expect a curated selection of Irish whiskeys, live music performances, and a lively late-night setting. Unlike many Irish pubs, Nancy Spains Manchester exclusively serves Murphy’s Stout, staying true to its Cork roots.

With two successful venues in London, Nancy Spains London was founded by three brothers from rural Kerry, Ireland. Their vision was shaped by travelling across their home county, researching traditional Irish pubs to create a space that balances old-world charm with a modern city atmosphere.

Co-founder Peter O’Halloran shared his excitement about the Manchester opening, stating:

“We’re so excited to be launching in Manchester, bringing Nancy Spains to the heart of the Northern Quarter. After the success of our two venues in London, it was only right to bring Nancy Spains’ infectious spirit and Irish pride to Manchester. Slainte!”

Nancy Spains’ Manchester location aims to become a go-to destination for traditional Irish pub experiences, featuring great pints, live music, and a community atmosphere.
