When the hotel staff learned of our wedding anniversary coinciding with our stay, they went the extra mile to ensure our celebration was special. Our welcome was accentuated with a delightful plate of chocolate-dipped strawberries, a heartfelt gesture that added a layer of sweetness to our memorable celebration.
Our Queen Premium Room, perched on one of the hotel’s elevated floors, offers spectacular views of Westminster through the floor-to-ceiling windows. The room was equipped with a custom-made bed, a state-of-the-art 4K Ultra HD 49-inch TV, and an elegantly designed bathroom. The bathroom boasted a luxury rain shower, a perfect haven for a rejuvenating morning refresh. In addition, the presence of an in-room Nespresso machine offered us the luxury of savouring barista-style coffee in the comfort of our room before venturing out into the city.
Located within the grandeur of The Westminster Hotel, STK Westminster provides an immersive dining experience, combining tantalising culinary creations with striking aesthetics. The restaurant exudes an irresistible blend of sophistication and allure, immediately drawing guests into a stimulating atmosphere. The restaurant welcomes a diverse clientele, ranging from city workers to casual diners and those celebrating memorable occasions.
Each dish, meticulously prepared and beautifully presented, is a feast for both the eyes and the palate. The menu, with options from brunch to dinner, is particularly renowned for its steak dishes. I can personally attest to this, having savoured a steak that was cooked to absolute perfection, reinforcing the restaurant’s reputation as a destination for meat connoisseurs.
A standout feature of the dining experience at STK is its delightful cocktail list. Sampling a few of their signature drinks, each one was refreshing and bursting with unique flavours.
Beyond the culinary delights, the restaurant’s appeal lies in its thoughtful design elements. The contemporary yet elegant interiors create a warm and inviting ambience, augmented by the rhythm of uplifting music playing softly in the background. Floral decorations, subtly placed throughout the restaurant, contribute a touch of nature’s beauty to the chic setting.
Apart from its remarkable culinary offerings, Westminster London presents an array of intriguing amenities that accentuate its unique character. Hidden within the hotel’s opulent confines lies a private bowling alley, providing a distinctive and entertaining diversion.
For those guests who wish to maintain their fitness regimen, perhaps to counterbalance the indulgences of the previous night’s meal, Westminster Hotel houses a state-of-the-art gym on the 13th floor. On this occasion, I passed on the opportunity, but I was still able to appreciate the panoramic city views offered by the gym’s floor-to-ceiling windows.
