HRC, part of Food, Drink & Hospitality Week, will bring together the hotel, restaurant and catering sectors on 17-19 March at Excel London to connect, collaborate and discover new supplier partners.
Celebrating its 90th year in 2025, HRC is the ultimate business event for the UK hospitality industry, offering owners and operators unparalleled opportunities to connect with industry peers, explore a vast array of innovative products and services, and stay informed on the latest trends, research, and case studies.
HRC is divided into five key show sections: Hospitality Tech, Professional Kitchen, Furniture, Interiors & Tableware, Foodservice, and, new for 2025, Pizza & Pasta. Each section allows hospitality professionals to easily discover new and existing suppliers providing everything needed to streamline their business offering and elevate their customer experience.
Visitors to HRC will have the opportunity to hear from industry leaders across the hotel, restaurant and catering sectors on the show’s Vision Stage, in partnership with Future Menus, designed by Harp Design. Plus, the TechX stage will provide invaluable insights and case studies for operators to perfect their tech stack and make innovative tech work in their business.
One of the highlights of the Vision Stage seminar programme will be a keynote session with Adejoké Bakare, Founder and Head Chef of Chishuru and the first black woman in Britain to earn a Michelin Star, interviewed by The Future Plate Founder Julian George.
Bakare says: “I’m hugely looking forward to taking part in HRC this year and discussing my journey into the hospitality industry, the evolution of Chishuru and the future of West African cuisine.”
A popular returning feature at HRC will be Chef HQ, curated by Chef Publishing, a stage, demo kitchen and networking area which in 2024 featured a live demo from celebrity chef Glynn Purnell, a session with HRC Chef Ambassador Lisa Goodwin-Allen and 2023 Young National Chef of the Year Sam Dixon, a conversation with Great British Menu contestant Adam Smith, and a must-attend ‘in conversation’ with industry legendary Pierre Koffmann as he reflected on a career spanning over 55 years.
This year HRC has unveiled a number of new ambassadors from the hospitality industry who are helping to steer the direction and content of the event.
Robert Richardson, CEO of the Institute of Hospitality and HRC Ambassador, emphasises the event’s role as a critical hub for the sector: “HRC’s importance cannot be overstated. It is a gathering of the best and brightest in the hospitality industry, a chance to celebrate our shared successes, address our common challenges, and shape the future of our field. As representatives of the Institute of Hospitality, we are proud to support and be a part of this incredible event.”
HRC takes place alongside IFE Manufacturing, IFE, The Pub Show and International Salon Culinaire as part of Food, Drink & Hospitality Week on 17-19 March at Excel London.
