Honest Burgers has announced the appointment of Kevin Styles as its new chief executive officer. Bringing extensive leadership experience across retail, leisure, and entertainment, Kevin joins the business at a time of continued growth and innovation.
Before joining Honest Burgers, Kevin was CEO of the Jamie Oliver Group, where he led the development of a new restaurant concept and cooking school. His career also includes leadership roles at Vue International, American Golf, Best Buy Europe, and Kingfisher.

Honest Burgers, known for its commitment to quality and sustainability, operates 39 locations across the United Kingdom. Following a strong first half of 2024, the company maintained its momentum in the second half of the year and is forecast to exceed £60 million in revenue, with like-for-like sales growth of 10% and EBITDA expected to rise by 50% year on year. The business also achieved three consecutive weekly sales records leading up to Christmas, with half of its restaurants reporting new sales highs in December.
The company has recently expanded with the launch of its new grab-and-go concept, Honest Smash + Grab, in December. Located on Old Broad Street in London, this new format blends the high-quality ingredients and competitive pricing Honest Burgers is known for with a faster, more convenient service model. Customers can order smash burgers via self-service kiosks for dine-in or takeaway. This launch marks an important step in the company’s ambition to quadruple in size by 2030.
Kevin joins following Thomas Kelly’s transition to chair in 2024. Commenting on the appointment, Thomas Kelly said: “We’re really excited to welcome Kevin to the Honest family. His extensive experience and forward-thinking vision make him the perfect leader to guide us into our next phase, and we look forward to seeing the impact he will have on our brand.”
Kevin Styles added: “This brand has a unique opportunity to really disrupt a sector that is evolving quickly. The quality of the offer, highly competitive value, a very strong and distinctive brand, all combined with amazing restaurant teams, provide an incredible platform for sustainable growth.”
Honest Burgers, co-founded by Tom Barton and Philip Eeles in 2009, has grown from a small food festival stall to a national brand. The company operates its own butchery and kitchen, allowing it to produce high-quality patties, sauces, relishes, and chips entirely in-house. In 2022, it partnered with farming collective GrassRoots to support regenerative farming and reduce the environmental impact of beef production.
With its new leadership, ongoing expansion, and a continued focus on quality and sustainability, Honest Burgers is set for further growth in 2025 and beyond.
