In honour of Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October, Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza, Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife and Hard Rock Hotel Marbella are participating in Hard Rock International’s PINKTOBER campaign. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Hard Rock PINKTOBER® programme in support of breast cancer awareness and research, which since its inception, has raised over $12 million for breast cancer research, including $1.3 million raised in 2023.
This year, Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza, Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife and Hard Rock Hotel Marbella will join other Hard Rock properties around the world with special events and offers across their facilities. A portion of proceeds will be donated to the Hard Rock Heals Foundation® and local associations to benefit breast cancer awareness and research charities both locally and worldwide.
“We are proud to be part of Hard Rock International’s 25th PINKTOBER anniversary. For another year, Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza, Tenerife, and Marbella are committed to raising awareness about breast cancer and supporting local organizations dedicated to this cause. Throughout October, we’ve created a variety of activities for our guests, local residents, and visitors to enjoy, all while raising funds. We hope our efforts inspire everyone to join us in making a difference.” says Guzmán Muela, Global Brand Sr. Director of Operations of Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza, Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife and Hard Rock Hotel Marbella.
Introducing meaningful experiences, these hotels allow guests and the local community to show their support through the power of music, while contributing to a great cause by taking part in PINKTOBER fundraising activations. The initiatives will benefit associations close to our hearts: the ‘ÁMATE’ association; The Association Against Cancer for Formentera and Ibiza; and AECC Marbella.
PINKTOBER events
The month of PINKTOBER will kick off with a themed all-female music event on 10 October at Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza’s impressive The Ninth rooftop bar, followed by a ‘Relaxation at Rock Spa®’ fundraising wellness event and acoustic concert on 18 October, with pink drinks and snacks. To mark International Day Against Breast Cancer on 19 October, in true Hard Rock style, a ‘Tardeo’ jam session with a local band will be staged at Hard Rock Hotel Marbella, whilst over on the White Island, Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza will host fundraising BFIT body gym and OWN Studio stretching classes, with inspirational speeches. Meanwhile, those visiting Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife on 19 October can take part in a pink guitar raffle and enjoy makeovers and fluorescent bodypainting at a special ‘Children of the 80’s’ party with Spanish band Orquesta Mondragón.
