Fulham FC is elevating its matchday and hospitality experience with the appointment of two world-class chefs. This marks the first of many culinary signings to The Riverside – the spectacular redevelopment of Fulham’s stand adjacent to the River Thames.

Among these two distinguished signings are Alex Dilling, an extraordinary talent and outstanding technician, whose meticulous French-inspired cuisine has earned him two Michelin stars at the iconic Alex Dilling at Hotel Café Royal. Joining him is lifelong Fulham fan and Great British Menu winner Oli Marlow, a highly respected figure within the industry. Marlow is Simon Rogan’s international executive chef, overseeing renowned establishments including the Michelin-starred Aulis restaurants in London and Phuket, Roganic Hong Kong, and the two Michelin-starred Ion Harbour in Malta.

As The Riverside nears completion, these acclaimed chefs will set a new benchmark for Premier League dining, starting in the next football season. Supporters who dine at The Gourmet, Fulham’s elegant first-floor restaurant, will be treated to a variety of world-class gastronomic delights, with rotating chef stations and cuisine themes that reflect the expertise and flair of the top-tier team.

Speaking about his new role, Chef Alex Dilling, said: “When it comes to food, I’ve always aimed for the top, so joining Fulham, a club that strives for excellence both on and off the pitch, feels like a perfect match. Fulham is putting something truly special on the table, both in the Premier League and in the kitchen, and I’m excited to be part of a team that’s as ambitious about their food as they are their football.”

Speaking about his new role, Chef Oli Marlow said: “As a lifelong Fulham fan, it’s an absolute honour to become part of this incredible family football club. I’m excited to contribute to enhancing the match-day experience for fans, and I’m committed to achieving just as much success off the pitch as the team delivers on it. I look forward to sharing my passion for great food and hospitality with the Fulham community.”

Speaking about the new signings, Elliot Machin, Head of Sales & Hospitality Operations at Fulham FC comments: “London is one of the most competitive sports hospitality markets in the world, and our vision for The Riverside is to deliver something truly exceptional. We require an elite roster of chefs to take on the competition and with these signings, we’ve acquired a winning culinary team.”

After unveiling a first look inside The Riverside earlier this year, featuring experiences set to redefine traditional matchday hospitality, London’s original football club has already increased the number of premium members onboarded four-fold compared to the previous season – with this new roster of chefs set to elevate Fulham’s unique offering even further.

Beyond this exciting new dining experience, The Riverside represents a highly anticipated new era for Fulham, delivering an unparalleled blend of sporting heritage, world-class service, and luxurious surroundings. While these Michelin-starred chefs will take the lead in The Gourmet, the elevated matchday experience extends across the Thames Bar and Sky Deck, ensuring a variety of premium offerings for every guest.

Premium memberships across The Riverside for the 25/26 season will be going on sale shortly, offering guests the chance to be part of this landmark hospitality experience.
