Ahead of its official opening on 10 July 2023, City of Dreams Mediterranean has already started gaining international recognition. The resort was recently honoured by The European Property Awards 2023 for its remarkable feats in three categories, including Best Hotel Architecture Europe, Best Sustainable Commercial Development Europe, and Best New Hotel Construction & Design Cyprus.
The integrated resort, which is set to transform the face of Cyprus’ tourism sector by attracting thousands of extra tourists every year, is primed to establish the island as a year-round tourist destination.

It boasts a fourteen-storey luxury hotel with 500 rooms and suites, over 8,000sqm of MICE space, an outdoor amphitheatre, a family adventure park, and an array of fine dining outlets and luxury retail stores. Its unique interior design is a blend of Melco’s international luxury standards, tailored specifically for the Cyprus resort, while the exterior design is inspired by distinctive Mediterranean influences.
The resort is also a front-runner in sustainable development in Cyprus, being the first development on the island to achieve a BREEAM Excellent rating for its sustainability strategy at the design stage.
