Caffè Concerto has opened its first northern restaurant at Victoria Leeds, with the venue welcoming its first diners on 22 November. This marks a key expansion for the European-style restaurant chain, which previously operated exclusively in Greater London and Birmingham.

The new 2,000 sq ft restaurant is located within Victoria Gate, offering an elegant yet contemporary setting. Diners can expect luxurious interiors featuring art deco-inspired design elements, including a grand bar, chandeliers, and mirrored walls complemented by greenery. The venue accommodates 138 covers and boasts outdoor seating on Harewood Street for al fresco dining.

The menu offers a selection of Italian-inspired classics, afternoon tea, and indulgent cakes, making it a versatile destination for everything from casual lunches to special occasions or Christmas celebrations.

Maher Al Hajjar, Director at Caffè Concerto, shared his excitement about the launch:
“We’ve been working incredibly hard to create a stunning new restaurant for our first northern venture and we are really proud of the result. We are very much looking forward to throwing the doors open to customers and welcoming lots of new people to enjoy the Caffè Concerto experience.”

This new restaurant is Caffè Concerto’s 22nd UK location, joining 20 venues in Greater London and one in Birmingham’s Grand Central Station. Its arrival adds to the food and beverage offering at Victoria Leeds, a destination already home to a range of international and local operators such as The Ivy, The Ivy Asia, and The Cut & Craft.

Rachel Bradburn, Leasing Director at Victoria Leeds, commented:
“Caffè Concerto’s decision to open its first northern restaurant at Victoria Leeds is a testament to our reputation as one of the UK’s most trusted luxury retail and leisure destinations. Its decadent menu, elegant decor, and vibrant al fresco space will elevate our food and drink offer, catering to a wide range of tastes and preferences.”

Bookings for Caffè Concerto will be open from 25 November, but walk-ins are welcome starting from 22 November.
