Alo has introduced a new wellness-led concept at the Mandarin Oriental, Bodrum, combining a beach club and boutique into a single destination. The development blends Alo’s approach to movement and mindfulness with a design language that responds directly to its coastal surroundings. This marks the brand’s second project in Turkey, delivered in partnership with Soho Group following the opening of a boutique in Istanbul last year.
Launched in late May 2025, the Alo Beach Club transforms the resort’s private shoreline into a seasonal space for wellness and connection. Built with oak and pine and surrounded by mature olive and pine trees, the club’s layout incorporates natural materials and a colour palette of espresso, gravel and bone. Loungers, towels and soft furnishings are crafted from regionally sourced cotton blends, ensuring the physical setting remains in harmony with the landscape.

Running from May through September, the beach club hosts a rotating schedule of sessions led by international Alo instructors. Activities include sunrise yoga, meditation, Pilates, sound healing, face yoga and outdoor strength work. These are offered as part of the resort’s existing spa programming, designed to give guests a broader experience of the Alo lifestyle.

Just steps away from the beach club, a 700 square foot boutique opened on 1 May, presenting a curated selection of Alo products. The exterior is clad in iroko wood finished using the traditional Shou Sugi Ban method, while the interior features white oak millwork, matte black accents and a ceiling filled with greenery. The boutique offers apparel and accessories across womenswear, menswear and children’s ranges, including limited items not available elsewhere.

Guests visiting the beachfront can also access branded refreshments from a custom coconut cart, operated by the hotel. Alo’s branding appears throughout the beachside dining service, integrated into the presentation of the Mandarin Oriental’s culinary offering.

“Our presence in Bodrum allows us to authentically connect with a global community seeking elevated wellness experiences,” said Danny Harris, co‑CEO and co‑founder of Alo. “This new space brings the full Alo lifestyle to life at the intersection of travel, wellness, and fashion.”
Abdelrahman Ismeik, CEO of Soho Group, added: “The launch of Alo in Bodrum is more than just a retail expansion. It’s a cultural moment that blends wellness, style, and lifestyle in one of the most iconic destinations in the Mediterranean. We are proud to be part of creating this immersive experience at the Mandarin Oriental Bodrum.”
