The Sloane Stanley Estate has announced the opening of Alley Cats, a New York-style pizzeria, at 342 King’s Road, marking the brand’s second location. The new 1,277 sq ft restaurant aims to bring the essence of New York dining to Chelsea, with a design that features central tables adorned with gingham tablecloths and upcycled church pew-style seating, creating an authentic and inviting atmosphere.

Headed by chef Francesco Macri, Alley Cats’ menu offers a diverse range of dishes, including Meatballs, Candied Bacon, and a Mortadella Folder, along with a selection of 14-inch pizzas. Some of the standout pizza options include Marinara, Vodka Sauce, Tuna Bonito, Cacio & Pepe, and Wild Mushroom, all designed to reflect the rich and varied flavours of New York cuisine.

Hannah Grievson, Property Director at Sloane Stanley, expressed her excitement about the new addition to King’s Road: “King’s Road is rich in distinctive concepts, and Alley Cats is the perfect addition to its line-up. It brings an inspiring menu that captures the true essence of a genuine New York dining experience, both in taste and atmosphere, and it’s an offer that resonates with our community, suiting locals, residents, and visitors. Our roster of restaurants is continuing to grow, and we’re pleased to see a thriving independent open its doors on our estate and make its mark on the Chelsea neighbourhood.”

The opening of Alley Cats follows the recent debut of Dez Amore on Sloane Stanley’s Fulham Road. Dez Amore specialises in traditional Italian dishes with a contemporary twist, reflecting the heritage of its founders. This new addition complements existing operators on the estate, such as Josephine by Claude Bosi and Kiss The Hippo, further enhancing the area’s culinary diversity.

Shelley Sandzer acted on behalf of Sloane Stanley in facilitating the deal, ensuring that Alley Cats found an ideal location to continue its growth and success within the vibrant Chelsea neighbourhood.
