Pahli Hill, a Michelin-recommended Indian restaurant, is excited to announce its collaboration with the forward-thinking fashion brand LOBOMAR. Fresh from launching their new collection ‘Final Orders Please’ at a runway show in Amsterdam, LOBOMAR will be showcasing the collection exclusively at Pahli Hill’s Bandra Bhai bar on Mortimer Street, London, from 23rd – 30th October.

Bandra Bhai, located beneath Pahli Hill, is styled as a 1970s Bombay speakeasy and serves as the perfect backdrop for LOBOMAR’s eclectic designs. The bar’s atmosphere, centered on self-expression and revelling in forbidden enjoyment, mirrors LOBOMAR’s ethos, making it an ideal location for this unique collaboration.

Established in 2023 by siblings Marco and Marcella Lobo, LOBOMAR draws inspiration from the siblings’ upbringing across Köln, London, and Amsterdam. With Indian-Italian roots, they grew up questioning traditional notions of identity and authenticity, and LOBOMAR reflects these ideas by challenging rigid categories of identity. Their Final Orders Please collection features handwoven organic cotton crafted by artisans in Tamil Nadu, as well as preloved saris sourced from their aunt’s community in Mumbai.

During the eight-day showcase at Bandra Bhai, guests will have the opportunity to browse the collection and receive styling tips directly from Marcella Lobo, co-founder and Creative Director of LOBOMAR. To celebrate the collaboration, Chef-Patron Avi Shashidhara has crafted an exclusive dessert titled ‘Final Orders, Please’, which will be available on the Pahli Hill menu throughout the event.

The dessert features a brioche filled with Alphonso Mango Vodka Kulfi and Pistachio, with a dough infused with Amalfi Lemon. Avi has incorporated Desi Daru Vodka into the kulfi base, paying homage to LOBOMAR’s Sicilian roots and reflecting his own culinary journey, having spent over a decade at the Michelin-starred River Café and travelled extensively through Italy. This dish embodies the essence of LOBOMAR’s collection, with bold and liberating flavours.

Commenting on the collaboration, Avi Shashidhara said: “When crafting this dish, I aimed to translate the essence of Lobomar’s vision into a culinary experience, making it a reflection of the emotion and storytelling of their collection. Just like a designer creates a story, I too have strived to create a dish that tells a story of its own.”

The collaboration will also include a launch dinner on October 22nd, where the ‘Final Orders Please’ dessert will debut alongside a tasting menu created by Avi to reflect the themes of the LOBOMAR collection. In addition, there will be a social event featuring drinks and music, offering a space for like-minded creatives to come together, view the collection, and enjoy the exclusive dish.

Marcella Lobo, co-founder and Creative Director of LOBOMAR, shared her thoughts on the collaboration: “For us, the experience at Pahli Hill will be love letters to those small, meaningful moments we rarely appreciate until they’re gone. We want to transport the audience into that fleeting space between night and morning, where the conversations and laughter feel intimate, almost eternal. It’s an exploration of identity and how food, fashion, and human connection come together in these spontaneous encounters.”

The LOBOMAR x Pahli Hill collaboration promises to deliver a unique blend of fashion, flavour, and personal expression. Visitors can expect an experience that looks good and tastes exceptional, making it a memorable fusion of creative worlds.
