Clays, the virtual clay target shooting experience, has announced that bookings for its highly anticipated Birmingham location are now live. The new venue, located in the historic Piccadilly Arcade, promises an immersive experience combining social entertainment with best-in-class hospitality.
Using cutting-edge software, Clays replicates the atmosphere of a traditional British shooting ground, with interiors inspired by the countryside’s picturesque scenery. This blend of high-tech entertainment and stylish design is set to make the new Birmingham site a standout destination for leisure in the city.
A highlight of the Birmingham venue is the debut of the Clays Arcade, an exclusive new concept tailored to smaller groups. Designed to provide a quick-fire, fast-paced gameplay experience, Clays Arcade allows groups of two or more to engage in target shooting alongside other players. This new addition brings a fresh dynamic to the traditional Clays experience, making it ideal for date nights, social gatherings, and corporate events.
The Birmingham venue will also offer a vibrant social setting, featuring two large bars and resident DJs every weekend to create a lively party atmosphere. Spread across three floors, the space can host up to 500 guests, providing ample room for shooting, eating, dancing, and socialising.
Clays’ food and drink offerings are central to the experience, with a premium menu crafted by Culinary Director Roger Olsson. The menu focuses on sustainable and ethically sourced British produce, offering a variety of sharing platters and smaller plates for all group sizes. Standout dishes include the vegetarian platter, featuring Korean fried cauliflower and sweetcorn ribs, and their signature pizzettes, handmade with crispy dough bases and loaded with fresh toppings.
Guests can also enjoy a selection of expertly crafted cocktails, inspired by the theme of clay target shooting and the British countryside. Signature drinks include Jack’s Orchard, made with Jack Daniel’s Apple Whiskey and fresh apple juice, and the indulgent J.W. Skeet and Barrel, featuring Johnny Walker Blue, vanilla-infused vermouth, and aged French plum brandy. The team’s expert bartenders are on hand to recommend drinks tailored to guests’ preferences.
