The shortlist for the Creative Retail Awards 2024 has been finalised after a rigorous judging process. At a crucial time for the industry, the Creative Retail Awards remain the ultimate celebration of innovation and excellence in retail, leisure, and hospitality design. This prestigious event allows retailers and creatives from around the world to compete for recognition in various categories, culminating in a glittering awards presentation in London, a global hub for the creative industries.

Organised by the Shop & Display Equipment Association (SDEA) in conjunction with 365 Retail, the Creative Retail Awards have become a highly anticipated fixture in the industry calendar. The shortlisted entries for this year’s awards will be published on Monday, 22 July 2024.

This year’s panel of expert judges meticulously reviewed hundreds of entries across 22 categories, which recognise excellence in specialist areas such as retail lighting and technology, as well as specific retail categories. The announcement of the winners and those highly commended will take place on 19 September.

As the retail sector continues to evolve, driven by changing customer demands and advancements in technology, innovation and creativity are more crucial than ever for achieving success. “Retail may be struggling to address the challenges facing the sector, but these awards continue to reflect the high quality of creative responses to those challenges,” says retail designer David Dalziel, one of this year’s judges.
