Bobo Social will open its doors in Ealing, introducing West London to its signature cuisine, bespoke cocktails, and renowned customer service. This marks the third opening in the popular restaurant chain, with the first Bobo Social launched in 2014 on Charlotte Street, Fitzrovia, receiving high praise from critics such as Fay Maschler, Grace Dent, and Giles Coren. The second location followed in Elephant Park in 2020.

Situated in Ealing’s new Filmworks development, Bobo Social’s latest venue will offer 120 seats, expanding to 160 seats with its impressive summer terrace. Customers can choose from various seating options, including the long bar where they can watch the staff prepare signature cocktails or enjoy the culinary theatre of the open kitchen. The entrance features a large bifold door, allowing ample daylight to fill the space.

Bobo Social prides itself on delicious staples and modern British and European cuisine, using classic techniques and fresh produce. Their daily brunch menu, available from 9 am to 3 pm, includes the popular Full Bobo Breakfast with vegan and vegetarian options. The brunch menu is best enjoyed with Bobo’s Envie Skin Drinks, in-house cold-pressed juices like The Glow, which contains Cold Pressed Orange, Beetroot, Carrot, Lime, Flax Seeds, Marine Collagen, and Hyaluronic Acid. For a more spirited brunch, patrons often opt for a Bloody Mary, Mimosa, or Bobo’s signature Boborita, a twist on the classic Spicy Margarita with Jalapeno Infused Tequila.

Beyond brunch, the a la carte menu offers starters often enjoyed as sharing plates, including Chilli Salt Squid, Braised Lamb Croquettes, and Devon Crab Tostada. Lighter main courses include the Warm Goats’ Cheese with Waldorf Salad, while Bobo Social’s acclaimed Smash Burger remains a popular choice across all locations. Desserts include the bestselling warm chocolate fondant, and drinks-based desserts such as the Irish Tiramisu (Jameson, Baileys, Kahlua, Caramel, Double Cream, Cocoa Sprinkler) or Lemon Sherbet (Lazzaroni, Cinnamon Syrup, Lime Juice, Float of Sauvignon Blanc). The extensive and thoughtfully curated wine list underscores the importance of drinks in the Bobo experience.

Michael Benson, the owner and founder of Bobo Social, has thrived in the industry for 30 years and is a long-term Ealing resident. Benson has long envisioned opening a Bobo Social in W5, aiming to add to the vibrant atmosphere of this part of London. The restaurant caters to all demographics with a flexible menu ranging from cocktails and ‘nibbles’ to a full three-course meal, appealing to Ealing’s residents, tourists, and work community.

In light of current economic challenges, many Londoners and UK residents are moving away from central London to bustling neighbourhoods with excellent transport links. The creation of The Filmworks development and the arrival of Bobo Social highlight Ealing’s growing potential, making it a must-visit destination in West London.
